Liam Cook joins the Sphinx

Coventry Sphinx Football Club would like to officially offer a very warm welcome to Liam Cook, who’s joined the club in a new media role after seven years at Coventry United.

In addition to providing his renowned matchday coverage and commentary, Liam will be working alongside our programme editor, Chris Nee, to deliver social media communications and content throughout the season.

Club Chairman Dannie Cahill:

“We’re excited to have Liam on board for our new adventure at Step 4. Sphinx is an ambitious football club and we intend to exceed what’s expected of a club at our new level when it comes to communications and content.

“We’ve admired Liam’s work at Coventry United for a long time and I’m delighted he’s agreed to move over and deliver his matchday coverage for the Sphinx. We believe he’s the best commentator at Step 4 in our region and, in partnering with Chris Nee, he completes a media team that will be the envy of our new division.”
