Coventry Sphinx  1 v 0  Tipton Town

Thats how Tipton Town will feel as they probably deserved something out of the game. Sphinx never really got going and only showed flashes of football which have taken them to the top of the league.

Tipton had the majority of the play throughout the game but will rue 3 clearcut chances in the first half. Sphinx themselves had Luke Williams through on goal but his cross shot was well saved by the Tipton keeper. Sphinx goal came from a Muldoon corner which was put in by the hard working Edwards.

The second half was a little better from Sphinx who looked alot more organised and dealt with everything Tipton could throw at them including 9 or 10 Rory Delapesque long throws.

All in all Tipton will feel hard done by where as Sphinx will feel job done against a side that had won 5 games on the trot away from home. Next up is a tough trip to Dunkirk.
